About BAC Water
Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, making the vial safe for repeated access with a sterile needle over a 28 day period.
BAC water is the standard diluent for reconstituting lyophilised research peptides. It is compatible with all Pureline Biolabs compounds and provides stable, sterile reconstitution conditions for multi-dose use in laboratory research applications.
The 3ml vial is ideal for single peptides used in smaller volumes. The 10ml multi-dose vial is the most cost-effective option for researchers reconstituting multiple compounds.

Usage Guide
BAC water is used to reconstitute lyophilised peptide powders into solution for research applications. Always use a sterile needle for each access to maintain vial sterility.
Clean the BAC water vial stopper with an alcohol swab and allow to dry. Draw the required volume of BAC water using a sterile syringe.
Clean the peptide vial stopper. Inject BAC water slowly down the inside wall of the peptide vial — not directly onto the powder. Gently swirl to dissolve.
Once reconstituted, store peptide solution at 2–8°C. Use within 28 days. Always use a fresh sterile needle for each access to both vials.
