About Ipamorelin

Ipamorelin is a pentapeptide GH secretagogue and selective agonist at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor (GHS-R1a). Developed by Novo Nordisk, it was designed to stimulate GH release with high selectivity and minimal off-target hormonal effects — a significant advance over earlier generation secretagogues such as GHRP-2 and GHRP-6.

The key distinction of Ipamorelin in research contexts is its receptor selectivity. Studies have characterised Ipamorelin’s dose-dependent GH release profile, examining pulse amplitude, duration and frequency compared to endogenous GH release patterns and other secretagogue compounds.

Comparative studies have examined Ipamorelin’s receptor selectivity versus GHRP-2, GHRP-6 and ghrelin, characterising its binding affinity and functional activity at GHS-R1a and the absence of significant activity at other receptor subtypes.

Reconstitution Guide

Ipamorelin is supplied as a lyophilised powder and must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water before use in research applications.

Allow vial to reach room temperature. Clean the rubber stopper with an alcohol swab and allow to dry completely.

Draw required volume of BAC water into a sterile syringe. Inject slowly down the inside of the vial wall — not directly onto the powder.

Gently swirl until powder fully dissolves. Do not shake. Solution should be clear and colourless.
